Join us for worship this
Our church family meets two times every weekend. All weekend services include live worship and preaching.
Our hope is to reserve the parking spaces closest to the building in the lot for guests and those with accessibility needs. If you’re visiting with us, flash your lights to let us know you’re new and we’ll try to get you a spot near the school. Additional parking is located at St. Peter’s Catholic School Board north of the building. Due to repeated requests from the school, please do not park on Baxter St. Otherwise, feel free to drop off passengers at the sidewalk close to the school and then park’n’walk.
What to Expect
Our service begins with worship that is led by a band. Most people stand during this time, but if you’re not able to stand, you’re welcome to remain seated. The words of all of the songs are projected onto a screen. Our hope is that you’ll hear songs you know or can relate to even if you haven’t been to church before.
Like most churches, we take an offering in our service. If you’re a guest, you’re welcome to give, but this is primarily intended for those who consider Harvest their church home.
As our guest, we only ask that you take a few moments to fill in a Connection Card, which you will receive from an usher on your way into the Worship Centre. The Connection Card is where you can request information, ask for prayer, or just indicate that you joined us at church this weekend. In any case, our church leaders pray for each of the prayer requests every week.
You won’t be asked to stand or raise your hand (or anything else embarrassing) just because you’re new. Nor will you have to recite anything or kneel at certain times during the service.
Our commitment at Harvest is to preach practical messages from the Bible that help you deal with real life issues. Pastor Kevin preaches from the English Standard Version but our most important concern is that you have a Bible in your hands regardless of which version it is. If you don’t have a Bible, it would be our joy to give you one at no cost when you come to church.
After The Service
Be sure to stop by the Connection Desk where our Welcome Team would love to give you a small package as a ‘thank you’ for joining us at Harvest. The Connection Desk is also where you’ll find important information about our church — including your next steps to get plugged in at Harvest — to help you decide if this is where God wants you be.
Don’t feel that you have to hurry out the door. We would love the chance to meet you. And don’t forget to pick up your children from Harvest Kids before you leave!
What To Wear?
At Harvest Bible Chapel, we focus on the heart more than the outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend services, you will find people dressed in a wide variety of styles from casual (jeans and shorts) to formal (suits and dresses).
We do ask that people wear clothing that does not draw attention to themselves. We think that what you wear to church should not detract from the worship experience of others around you. We want all of the attention to go to Jesus Christ.
Welcome from our
Welcome to the online home of Harvest Bible Chapel. We are a church that is passionately seeking the glory of God as we make disciples of Jesus Christ. We believe that God has given the church the greatest mission there is: to glorify Him through the fulfillment of the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment (Matthew 28:19-20; Matthew 22:37-39).
Maybe you have come to this site just to look around; if that’s you, then welcome. But maybe you’re wondering if Harvest is the church where God wants you to be. If that’s you, then it’s important for you to know that we are committed to unapologetic preaching, unashamed worship, unceasing prayer, and unafraid witness.
As you explore the rest of our website, you’ll discover more of what that means. But the best way to get to know us is to come to church on the weekend. And when you come, be sure to stop in at our Connection Table. We would love to give you a free welcome package with more information about who we are and how you and your family can get plugged in at Harvest.
We hope to see you soon!
You need time to worship, and we want your children to do the same. Our Harvest Kids ministry welcomes all children ages birth through grade 5 to join us during all weekend services.
